Within the Undercity temple, Batibat would sit upon her throne pondering in thought of the task ahead.

"It will take much time and effort to bring this place back to it's former glory. For now it would be best we survey the city area as best we can and see what the current damages are as well as finding ways to pacify and control the many hostile undead that plague this place. From what I have seen myself the area seems riddled with the tormented souls of the dead, fury filled wights, horrific helmed horrors and many more. But of course these are only the beginnings of our challenges to restore order here and bring tranquility to the many misguided souls who wander these city streets."

Baitbat looks to the small party of skeleton before her and Julius within the temple waving a hand motion directing them to rise from their kneel.

"The the rest of you to fan out and search the city as best you can. I want an moderate report of what we are looking at in terms of damages to walls and living spaces for now as well as an estimate to the number of hostile forces that still walk the streets of the city."

Batibat gives the order to the undead under her command then looking to Julius next to her with a heavy sigh.

"Do you think it's even possible, Julius? "Surely you, the Consort of All-Seeing Eyes would have an accurate judgement of the tasks ahead."

Julius leans on his staff, a look of contemplation on his face as he watches the undead depart.

"It is within the realm of possibility, my dear friend. However, it will require great effort on both of our parts if we are to see this through to fruition. Perhaps it is time to reach out to other like-minded individuals who seek sanctuary and the freedom to practice their crafts without ridicule or judgement from the society and city above."

Batibat and Julius soon begin to set up for their departure to the surface once again. As they walk towards the temple doors a few undead follow their step and hold the door open for them to leave. Once outside the two turn and bask at the glorious sight of their new beginning, looking upon the temple and nodding to each-other in approval. A handful of undead make their way out from the temple within as they leave, soon taking positions nearby the exterior temple door in it's defense as the two make their way from the darkness of the necropolis to the light of the surface once again.

Batibat, High Priestess of All Seeing-Eyes and Julius Baptiste, Exarch of Invocations set out towards the regions of the cloud-peaks after hearing rumor of ancient evils residing deep within the mountain. With a bit of preparations and the cast of teleportation the trip to the mountains was finalized in a matter of minutes and the cold air of the mountains took to them in a flash of icy chills and steam clouded breaths.

The two of them searched for some time in the hills for the rumored occurrence of evil but to their dismay most of their time was spent repealing yetis and frost giants. However the day was still young and night had yet to grace them with Selune's glow of star and moonlight.

After many hours of searching a chilling moan echos from deep within the hills and the hum of magic suffocates the silence of the coming night. Batibat and Julius follow the sound into a dark cave within the peaks where the source of the moans had come and to their surprise it was a remarkable discovery. . .

A lich was soon sighted along a party of wights deep in the cave conducting a vile ritual and chanting a tantalizing spell. As they spoke the words and cut their skin, did the forces of mummy lords and a shadow demons take to their side in a dreadful sight.

Batibat and Julius walked forward to the lich and the ritual, but would find that this was no time for a commune as the lich lashed out against them in rage of their disturbance. The fight carried on for hours on end but within the coming of morning did the Temple's clergy found themselves victorious in the battle. After the main force was taken care of Batibat took it upon herself to cast a control undead upon one of the mummy lords and Julius the same pacting the demon to his will. . . With the time spent amongst the spell, Julius and Batibat took the time to learn of the wisdoms to be shared from the mummy lord and the demon before allowing them their final reward into the after-life upon the morning sun of lathander.

Within the quiet calmness of the night a quiet exchange of words between the High Priestess, Batibat and the Baron Griel Nightgale echo softly within the area of the Boareskyr Bridge. The hin seems to be leading the conversation in a thorough explaining or advertisement of some sort to the Baron and a, Korden Ivatrix in the exchange to which carries on for about an hour. After the conversion between the two of them Batibat gives the baron a light bow and sets off into the distance once again only to arrive back to the bridge in the coming of dawn with medical and tent supplies in her possession.

As she arrives she spots a man seeming to set up a barricade upon the bridge who seems to be having trouble although to her understanding the job seemed easy, it was only the builders clumsiness that was causing the slow set up time.

After a breif exchange rebuffs between her and the man Batibat finds the time to pitch up her own tent filled with medical supplies and scrolls of Resurrection. Large bone totems are soon sunken into the dirt around the tent and a sign is placed label: Deminson Lock Currently Active, by way of the Temple of All-Seeing Eyes.

After which Batibat sends a Deminsion Lock on the area and takes her place in her tent opening a tome with a depiction of a skull on the cover and calmly reading the context.

Yet another peaceful night graces the Boreskyr Bridge defense as the barricades, command tents and medical centers stand tall. An array of light beacons are displayed along the barricades of the Ebon Blade and the Temple of All-Seeing Eyes medical aid tent. Most who would arrive to the bridge from the hostile territory across would see them as a beacons of safety.

The doors to the Temple of All-Seeing Eyes open with creek as a small band of undead stride in ahead of High Lady Batibat. As Batibat enters the temple behind the undead, two figures would follow in her step trailing behind her in their entry. As they enter the room the High Exarch Julius Baptiste would be awaiting their arrival as the Batibat and the two men walk forward and Batibat takes a seat amongst her throne next to the High Exarch and exchanging introductions. . .

The meeting starts in ernest as everyone gets into place. Words are shared of varying topics of magic, information, rumors and trade as the four of them speak promptly of the goals and obstacles the temple faces as of late. A few solutions are thrown into the chat with those within nodding their head in agreement to some and disagreement to others. . .

Non the less the meeting last for a few hours before coming to an end. As the High Lady Batibat and the High Exarch escort the two men out of the city leaving Batibat's undead to guard the place in blissful silence once more.

Whispers curl and wander on the border of Beregost and the farmlands. The hushed tone of rumors inch across the land nearby of things on the town's doorstep. It is said that the settlement has turned on a sudden high alert with more men being stationed at the gates and near the more popular destinations to keep watch over their townsfolk.

Farmers have entered the locality after a few days travel stating that from their farmsteads they can see a blazing red in the sky along with the wind throwing dark and pluming smoke their way. Children playing in the wheat and cornfields swear to their parents they hear the long echoes of screams coming from a long distance.

Overall, one word is whispered often to those both living and traveling within the town: "Beware."

(7/18/19 - 7/23/19) undead have swarmed the lands around nashkel, in the days of late, and it seems in the days to come more will remain. They hunger, they hunt, but not simply for flesh.. But for the bodies of anything they can collect. A group of adventurers set out to purge these undead and though many assaults have failed, others have had victory. The southern road is now clear into the cloudpeaks, and the nashkel mines purged by helmite knights. Word has spread that amn has responded to the threat, and 100 helmite soldiers are due to march into nashkel within a weeks time. With the recent victories moral has increased, through many suspect this is only the begining, and nashkel itself will be the next target.
The whispered words of dread are quite the topic of discussion in the town of Beregost, as two members of the Temple of All-Seeing Eyes catch wind of them in their travels to Nashkel. The two members ebb and flow through town with arched eye brows and heightened curiosity to the events as of late around the town-ship as the obvious threat of evil and chaos grows it's reputation in whispered numbers. . .

As the two of them have a look around town an iron-clad adventurer enters the town of Beregost from the south in a hurry. He looked beaten and bruised as he entered only to stop the two temple of eyes officials in their tracks as they walked towards the gates he came from. The man walks close, staring deeply at the two of them with eyes pure of fear as he speaks. . .

"Dun' not go pass em' gates south! Dey' are everywhere down 'ere! Hundreds. . . NO. . . THOUSANDS o' dem'! Bloody rotten' corpses walk'n and gnaw'n on anythin' alive I tell ye! Damn deaders caught me and me-lads off guard. We 'ere were hold'n em off fine too till dat damn. . . dread-wing came. . ."

The man's head cranks in the direction he came from as a terrifying scream echos from the south. His eyes flicker of fear once again only to look away as quickly as his eyes set upon the direction.

"Beware. . ." The armored man turns his back to the two members of the temple limping away in the direction of the Beregost temple.

Batibat and Julius look between each-other a moment after the scene with obvious peaked interest in the occurrence ahead. With a few preparations of wards and summons they set upon the roads south of Beregost where the stories of the iron-clad knight had come to fruition.

The area south of Beregost was filled with hordes of undead clawing, scratching and moaning within every corner of the area in a battle between the natural and un-natural. Wyverns screeched in battle-crys from the west while the screams and yells of the local xvarts marked a clear defense from the hordes to the east. Batibat and Julius took stride choosing to venture forth into the wvyerns lair where it was there they witnessed the battle between life and death within the rocky canyons. The battle raged on in a blood bath of ripped off wings, torn ligaments, half eaten wyvern corpses and charred efreeti remains. The two Temple of Eyes members pushed forward into the thick of the battle giving no quarter to the dead or the wyverns in their traverse. It was a bloody sight to behold as the now three sided battle of the southern beregost area brought forth even more carnage in their assault. Only after many hours of battle was most of the area cleared of undead as well as the wyverns leaving the area by flight in a disheartening retreat leaving their eggs exposed for the time being. The air grew cold and quiet after the fact as the place gave forth a chilling atmosphere of blood and gore. Batibat and Julius looked around at the scene before nodding a job well done. . . Although to their surprise their job was not over yet as the shadow of the colossus loomed over from above with opened wings of splendor. Atop the canyons of the wyvern's lair it stood, over a contaminated egg screeching with a terrifying war-cry from above for all those to hear. . .

"Dread-wing. . ."

With quick reactions Batibat and Julius took the battle to the Undead Wyvern Lurker as it swooped down to challenge them. Batibat held it's attention while Julius weakened the creature in an array of powerful eldritch blast shattering the wvyern's tough hide defenses. The wyvern was quick, but batibat proved quicker. . . The wyvern was strong, but Julius proved stronger as they out-manuvered and over-powered the creature in every way possible before bringing it down to it's knees. In a struggle of pain and ravenous rage the creature lied helplessly on the ground before it's predators. With every bit of strength it had it attempted to finish what it was made to do only having the strength to bite at Baitbat and Julius as they moved to close. Without it putting up a fight Baitbat found that this was the time to conduct her magic. With the wyvern helpless to interrupt her magical concentration she casted a powerful control undead spell on the creature subjecting it's will to her control. As the creature fell onto her command she nods delighted at the scene only to heal the creature using a few cast of Blood of the Martyr transferring her blood to it to give it the strength to stand once more. The sounds many of footsteps were drawing nearby as Batibat ordered the wyvern to sit. Where she and Julius would climb onto it's back and with a single word. . .

"Fly. . ."

Did they approach closer to the moon as they took to the skies away from the scene into the distant darkness. . .

A harrowing echo emits from within the Temple of All-Seeing Eyes giving off a terrifying drone of moans and whails that shroud over the Under-city before it. Within the dark hours of the night above, a cryptic meeting is taking place below the soils.

Spells are chanted. . .

The door to the Temple of All-Seeing Eyes opens promptly as Batibat exits from the temple followed by 3 undead skeletal giants and a
dreaded undead mummy. She turns looking to her party quite content with her choices, as today she would find the time to set out and clear some of the undead and ghost not under her allegiance wandering the city streets.

She and her undead survey the city in a stalwart march brutally bashing and crushing any undead or ghostly figure that would dare come forth to combat them. Time and time again the undead knights, warriors and magi came forth to face them. Even outnumbered Batibat and her large skeletal colossi took them down with no remorse, while sweeping the streets of the city from the disobedient undead as best they could.

After a job well done, Batibat commands her 3 skeletal colossi and her mummy lord to gather the remains of some of the undead knights they have slain previously and drag them back to the temple in their return. Her 3 skeletal colossi hold 1 bundle of skeleton knight remains each, her mummy lord another remain, and she herself scoops up some boney remains bringing the 5 undead knight remains back to the temple.

Julius entered the Vault of the Dead, Bateezu ally in tow. As they moved through the desecrated grounds they were immediately set upon by undead knights, spellcasters, and songweavers. Julius's eyes flashed a deep red as a powerful eldritch blast erupted from his staff, chaining through the attackers one by one, putting an end to the undead ambush. Julius instructed the devil to quickly gather the five corpses before heading back to the temple.

Batibat, Julius and Vikstor all set out on an expedition to the crypts of the fields of the dead to gather more skeletal knight corpses for the task at hand. The fight between them and the knights in the crypts rage on for hours as they push from a large crypt filled with the all manner of undead soldiers and bone golems. As the group pushes through, they begin collecting the corpses of those who are defeated by them one by one. Eventually the group reaches a stopping point as they enter the 4th lair of the crypt and are set upon by a large dracolich of immense power deep within it's chamber. The fight between them and the dracolich was a true test of their prowess but, in the end they were victorious as they made it out of the crypt with bright smiles and a bundle of 20 knight corpses to submit their victory.

The moans of the undead begin to chime within the many avenues of the Undercity once again as the dead walk upon the streets in an eerie song of the damned. The song echos within the cavernous walls in symphony with the hums and chants of prayer and magic conducting the orchestra of flesh and bone. Within the city much is currently being done as a-many ghouls and ghast litter the streets in stride to work. A few dozen or so would file out in all corners of the city doing simple task such as picking up rubble and hauling it elsewhere others seeming to be clearing out old abandon buildings of broken or damage decoratives and various ruined furniture pieces. A small hin would seem to walk along with the ghoul workers shouting orders and giving guidance as they haul all manner of objects, bits and bobbles from one place to another. The work flows all across the city as she and a few skeleton archers make rounds all day and night conducting the ever-flowing workforce of undead that now perform and progress within the city walls. . .

Within the last ten-day the area of the Undercity would seem alot more quiet then usual. The previous sounds of construction and labor that echoed throughout the city would be null and void. The city as lively as it was within the past few weeks has returned to it's previous silence and the streets that were once filled with all manner of undead had lost their activity. . .

The city was silent until the smoothing sound of a soft church bell rang emitting a calming chime around the Undercity tonight. The bell's rythum was slow and soft but as it rang did the voices of the dead moan and whail in symphony to it's chime.

The air around the temple grew cold and thin and the atmosphere gave off an aura of despair as the sound of a sword against flesh rang across the city. . .

Today was a day of mourning for the dead and rejoicing for the living as both in victory and defeat a battle was won and another lost.

The bells of the church signaled the shepherded call of the dead as the head of a once master of death and undeath was raised high for all too see.

"Let it be known this day. . . That she who has given us a great beginning has met her end by the hands of the faithful of the All-Seeing Eye. She was couragous, powerful, and truely a gifted of the art... and for that she shall be remembered for many years to come in this city. While she may have been slain a with hatred and vengeance in her heart she will live on and continue onward to walk her maze into the after-life. . . But she was stripped of that chance recently and chained by collar and leash to him who has previously received her trust and faith in his service. Let it be known that her sacrifice shall not be in vain and that one day she shall see the gates of Althama in the sky's above I Batibat Kok-Lir Kasdeya swear it to be so."

"Let us have a moment of silence for her beginning and her end. . ."
"For we are those who witness."
"For we are those who judge."
"For we are those who die."
With heads bowed low and the hums of the song of seekers chanted in choir did they sing.

As the head of the Necromancer known as Gywen sat upon a pedestal for all to witness.

Secret diary of Angbaal the Necromancer

The Wave - 10 Eleasis 1355

Since my arrival in this greasy and opulent northern decadent city, no significant event has occurred.

But yesterday, the course of my life has taken a decisive turn.

It all started with this wave of negative energy, which I perceived on the evening of 10 Eleasis.

She was powerful enough for me to draw from my sleep .

I took a little time to identify its source at the Field of the Dead. I think I was the first to arrive on site. My affinity with Necromancy is particularly sensitive, but there is no doubt that others necromancers will also be attracted inexorably by this place ...

I'm afraid to see the "Servants of the Light" and other fanatics of the Swoard Coast ended by perceiving the Source. When that happens, we will have to be ready to receive as it should.

I go astray ... what did I say? Ah yes. It was there that Fate made me meet necromancer Batibat.

This tiny halfling, surrounded by its powerful reanimated skeletons, left little doubt as to the nature or reason for its presence.

She was leading her elite corps of undead to battle, against the skeletal horde wandering without but in this plain whipped by the winds.

What an strange vision. It is not strange that Providence has entrusted to an insignificant creature, such power and such an iron will? The halflings are pitiful. They live of love and fresh water, and parasiting the large human cities. I do not know how she did, but Batibat is obviously absolutely well above the condition of his race.

Introduction to the guild - 13 Eleasis 1355

I have met all the requirement. The last test was the worst. Whatever she says, what I saw WAS NOT a pleasant experience. I like to inflict it on others, but not on myself.

No matter, I belong to their group now. I am one of them and this idea gives me ... joy. Even if habitually I do not like this word.

Discovery - 13 Eleasis 1355

Batibat finally showed me where our circle had established its headquarters. I could not believe my ears, let alone my eyes!

I will start avoiding to write too much in my journal. Prudence is the mother of security.

The collection of grimoires and parchments on Dark Art that they managed to get together here is EXTRAORDINARY !

I was told that every week there was more.

Of course, I immediately started to study all this. It will take me some time. With all this knowledge, I may be able to begin experiences that we could only dream of a few days ...

The streets of the Undercity had recently been disturbed, the torn and shredded remains of a few undead servants littering the ground. Whatever dead eyes lurking in the shadows would have been witness to a sword-wielding, silver-haired woman and a stout shape-shifting man finding their way beyond the defunct sewer system and into the deepest bowels of Baldur's Gate. Whether it was an accidental or deliberate intrusion within the lost ruins was uncertain and their stay was short-lived, as they perhaps wanted to avoid throwing too large a rock at the hornet nest.
The under-city in it's entirely would still seem quiet only until recently as a disturbance had riled up the dead in the area, the only traces of evidence left being the corpses of the servants of undeath itself. The disturbance turned the place from peaceful to chaotic within a manner of hours as a few of the priest from the Temple deep within the city fan out to try to quell the storm of the disturbed and restore what had been broken.

After a few hours of rehabilitation and restoration the temple bell rings and the attention of the-many is brought to it, as the members of the temple make their way back into it's domain as a vile magic is soon chanted within it's halls the church bell slowly comes to a halt. . .

Within the church a vile magic takes place as dark energy surrounds the temple and an aura of death and decay forms around the church once again. Soon the chanting stops and with it's silence to the dead beckon forward ever so slowly towards the temple grounds.

A cry of pain rings from within the temple as the sound steel upon flesh emits from within it's halls. The sound of steel puncturing flesh chimes aligns with the screams of pain as blood fills the temple floor. . .

The magic finally successfully cast. . .

And with it, the ritual has been complete. . .

As the severed hand falls into the floor, and bone takes it's place. . .

*Since recent events, the activity of the Buried Temple has increased.
More and more acolytes are attracted to the waking Power.
On the surface, no one doubts what if it is down below.*
