Orkbaal is a former slave-soldier gray orc and recently released to Shhamath.
Orkbaal was killed after savagely attacking a drow guard from Sshamath.
The former orc gladiator will not have been able to adapt to the Conclave's city or control its bestial nature.
Grey orc of great size, with exceptional developped musculature.
His body is hideously scarred.
He always seems on his guard and pretty aggressive.
He releases from his body a dreadful smell of sweat and dirt.
Very impulsive orc, although very cunning for his race. Very susceptible and resentful. Sadistic Brut. Only understand the strength and the blows. Take intense pleasure in the violence and stalking.
Sometimes very superstitious.
Orkbaal is a young orc in excellent health. His constitution and extreme martial training make him a war beast ready to face any extreme physical condition.
Training, hunting animals, devouring fresh meat, brutalizing people and killing them.
(The "mother" of Orkbaal).
Orkbaal was born in the tumult of a grey orc tribe in a series of caves in the far south of the Greypeak Mountains.
When he was young, he had to fight to suckle in his mother's womb.
At puberty, he has to fight to eat, with a toothache.
This brutal and savage life could have gone on for a while, until a violent death.
But an event came to break the continuity of this thread.
Duergars from a city of the Underdark made a raid on the orcs. The adults were all killed because they were deemed impossible to train.
But the young males were captured.
Grey orcs have no use as a working slave. They are far too bloody and dangerous for this kind of task. On the other hand, they can make good slave-soldiers.
At the end of a terrible training, made of blows, privations, tortures and magic coercion, Orkbaal was with his companions of misfortune trained and prepared for the war.
They fought for their duergar masters. First in tunnel security patrols, to hunt down and eliminate the predators of the Underdark.
Then, in battles from man to man. Orkbaal was like the others a slave, but he was remarkably cunning for an orc, and he had a taste for freedom.
His master and owner duergar had understood that, and he did not like his gloomy looks or his carnivorous smiles which filled him with dread.
He therefore decided to separate from him by selling him as a gladiator to a drow merchant, who was looking for this kind of merchandise to bring him back to his city, the singular city of Sshamath, located far south.
It was also a "chance" for the grey orc: a few days later, the band of slave-soldier orcs rebelled against a particularly humiliating mistreatment. They killed two duergars, but they were quickly riddled with squares and crushed under the ruthless boot of Laduger's children.
Orkbaal became in a few weeks a noted arena fighter. Then, an attraction all by itself. He was battling injuries that would normally kill another fighter on the spot. And each time, his incredible fury of fighting made him stand up, and finish his deadly task in the sands of the arena.
A year passed, and he was still alive. Scarred with screams, screaming the night of his wounds that were getting infected, but still alive. He brought a lot of money back to his dark elf master.
Alas for this drow it happened that the House to which it belonged was the target of an attack of execution by a rival House. The attack succeeded, all the members of the House were killed in one night. It was a total success. The triumphant matriarch decided in a perverse way to prolong the humiliation leaving life to some slaves, and giving them their freedom, to embody the pathetic reliquat of this destroyed rival house.
And so with some other slaves, the grey orc was suddenly "liberated" (kicked in the (hiney)) and left to his own fate.
