Change Candlekeep Beach Boat Conversation

Can this conversation be changed? Either remove the "luck" portion, which only serves as an annoyance, or change it to be the same conversation as the one at the Baldur's Gate / Ulgoth's Beard docks.
It seems like the topic was broached a while ago in this post, but no changes ever happened from it.
