Any linear dungeons in UD?

As title says, we found areas are rare below, and nearly all we have visited so far designed as in "run in a circle till you overfarm area" (and, by design, I mean area built up that you can keep running in a circle as doors and other actually go aorund in a circle lol).
I am playing UD character (and only one so far) here nearly a month, but my feelings like i am stripped of 80% of all content of server is rapidly growing!

as i recall, UD consist of only 15% of the whole server. Other 75% is surface, newly added map, and DM areas.

Is that proportional to the population?

UD population fluctuates a lot but is on average, fairly low. Is it that way because of low interest in playin in the UD or is it due to they way the UD is set up on the server?
Not sure, probably both. Potentially a worm can, opening situation.
More love can be given to the UD and in different ways. But is it a "build it and they will come", situation?
Im not sure.
I would recommend having two characters. A surface one and an UD one. I started doing that and find it works for me. I have them as separate alignments and two totally different kinds of builds. Opposite worlds in every aspect. This way I do not feel I am missing out on any aspect of the game, and get to enjoy lots of different experiences.

I definately have no interest in playing two characters, it is already taking enough time as it is, and i leave aside issues coming from two opposing characters when They get into position you must pick one. The worst thing a player can do is imho play more characters each of them in different faction (but that is my oppinion) who in fact are also hostile to each other.
That when i challenge surface dungeons and are met with no award is really bad design on DND based game / server regardless whatever reason it was done so for.

That topic comes up every once in a while. I'm of the opinion that even if surface zones were removed and turned into UD dungeons not enough would switch character races to balance it. That is just an opinion though.

I have an underdark PC.
What we would need is a pro active group of underdark players, followed by a DM who enjoys to take care of this kind of players.
But the DM are a rare and precious ressource. We can just pray for that...

How would it help with feeling all areas are repetitive until X lvl?
It is not about making areas to attract players, it is about making enough areas so those who play are not running in same circle 24/7.

Yeah you have right.
Surface maps are much more diverse, much more opened, and nices too.
There should be some very tall, sometimes illuminated caverns that look like outdoor maps

That’s EXACTLY what I’ve suggested
