Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I tried looking in solutions/common problems etc and couldn't see this.

When I click on the ground, my character does not walk anywhere(the circle when you click won't appear either).
It is not encumbered. If I click on a nearby character, they will walk up to and interact accordingly. I have tried
restarting the game, I have also tried both with and without the client extension to see if that helped. Nothing
seems to be working. Has anyone else had this problem before?

Any chance your camera is in character mode? Clicking doesn't cause you to move when the camera is in character mode. You can press the * key to switch camera modes, or find the three buttons attached to your hotbar that are "Exploration Mode," "Strategy Mode" and "Character Mode" and select one of the first two.
