Healing

Unread post by Kaverin »

I have a question about healing and the skill queue, there have been several occasions where i try to use a heal kit or a potion while in combat and it stays in the queue, round after round and never gets used. I don't understand why this happens. Does anyone know why this might be?

You have to click on the combat icon in the queue to cancel it.

I have found it easier to use WASD keys to break combat before queuing up a heal kit

Same works for HIPS.

There are certain actions that do not override your "Attack" action, so breaking it by moving (wasd or simply clicking somewhere) before queuing new actions is advised.

Do note clicking behind yourself will trigger AoOs, whereas tapping S and hitting the appropriate button (for HiPs or Heal) will not.

Only if you leave enemy attack range. If you just run around it for flanking, it doesn't.
Clicking is not reliable option though, because when you finish moving, your characted may automatically start attacking.
