Help with Stormsinging Dragon

I have this idea for a Stormsinger dragon disciple. Since lightning disciple is lawful I couldn't do that without an alignment shift, which I might enjoy if a DM okayed it - like he falls in love with storms and through that taps into his draconic heritage and finds himself conforming to the lawful nature of his Bronze Dragon ancestry. Otherwise, I thought Acid (Copper) is a good mix considering the Storm of Vengeance ability, plus he gains a second immunity instead of only getting lightning. I could also do fire (brass) so that with Vengeance + Ice Storm + Fire Breath I have four elemental AoEs.

I'm thinking a druming/chanting dwarf is fun, but I'm open to a more optimized race. I do want to stay good aligned though (I'm terrible at evil rp)

I'm not quite sure what I want the build to excel at, but AoE certainly seems to be the focus: Storm + Breath + Spells, so I'm inclined to shoot for high DCs. Does spell focus Conjuration help Stormsinger's Storm of Vengeance?
I want him to be a capable solo (as bards generally are), but a great add on to teams.

I don’t think Melodic Casting is available on BGTSCC.

It most importantly: “Stormsinger levels do not stack with bard levels for determining which songs a bard has access to. “

So no Hymn.

Okay, what feat should I use in place of Melodic Casting?(obviously that means I'd need to sink more points into concentration)

The prereq for hymn is song and the req for song is only 20 Bardsongs/day (not counting extra song). Stormsinger does stack with Bard for total songs/day, so B10/SS10 has 20 songs and the strength of his known songs is equivalent (so he won't know Legionaires, Freedom, or Jarring but his inspire courage and defense will be +4 and +5 respectively).

Anyone have experience/knowledge to confirm or deny this?

Would switch medium armor and battle caster with lingering, extra music for easier leveling.
Also spread out your bard levels some more and get tumble to 30 for +3AC.

Not sure we have epic skill focus perform.

Yeah, NWNdb doesn't have the lore breakdowns likt bgstcc, thats why I just put 16 points in lore to represent it. Mechanically, I couldn't represent that in 5 levels, but in practice I'd meet it. Also, I know Drag Disc is weaker physically (but it gets caster levels) but I cant show that in the db, so I figured readers here would know to adjust accordingly. Thus guy would mostly be an AoE caster. If he's swinging a sword, everyone is in trouble cuz he isn't hitting much.

What about AC? With such low dex, medium armor is a significant bump, especially when mithral full plate is factored in.

Do we have any epic skill focuses? What would you recommend in it's place?

Re: songs for Song> back in the day it used to be 21 Bard levels, and I was schooled on it with a proposed build. But if it is now just 20/day songs req., it can work.

So swap Melodic Casting for Heavy Armor Proficiency for Battle Caster, if you want.

There is a Bard Song focus Feat for BGTSCC.
