Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

At 7am gmt there was a server crash... And it strangely killed me. I was in the basement of the mermaid shoping suddenly it says i died out of no where and while i load nothing happens.... The server had crashed. And since the server crashed i don't have any proof.... -_-

I had the same issue, and got a screenshot of me in Fugue after the server came back up. My body was in Nexus, and someone tried to collect and take me back to ressurect. However, my body disappeared upon them teleporting back into world.

DM on Discord said there was nothing they could do, as it's against their policy to give restitution after a crash. Though they weren't totally sure that was the case.

Would like to hear from another DM to see if that's the case. Kind of a lot of xp was lost at epic levels...

back in the days of unstable BG where it would crash like 10 times a day they still didnt give refunds

Best thing to do is to have the player tools open minimised and hit the save character button a gazillion times XD. Like after each couple of kills or each chest.

There is a longstanding policy of no refunds for lag deaths and server crashes.

Any chance these deaths were related to loss of constitution buffs? Sometimes losing a CON buff can kill you without reflecting what happened in the combat log (usually if you're wounded already). That's why it's always advisable to rest in town.
