Rate/help a newb Bard build

So I decided to try my luck with a bard build this time, with a rogue dip, so far the early levels have been grueling, I have died a lot of times or end up running away from most areas, I think what I lack more is in equipment, but also would like to see if the build is done right.

I do have some experience in PWs and NWN2 so I think this build is a little decent.

The split is this way

Human bard 26/rogue 4
17 S (26 by lvl 30)
12 D
12 C
13 I
8 W
14 CHA

Feats:
Luck of Heroes, Lingering Song, Knockdown, Improved Knockdown, Extend Spell, Northlander Hewing, Practiced Spellcaster (bard), Thoughness.

Epic Feats:
Epic Prowess, Song of Requiem, Expose Weakness, Hymn of Requiem, Chorus of Heroism, Great Strength +1 and +2.

Skills go like this:

Maxed skills: Tumble, Perform, Use Magic Device, Bluff, Sense Motive, Listen, Appraise.
Other skills: Spellcraft (for Practiced Spellcaster), Lore skills, Disguise.

So far I had more or less success with newbie equipment in some places, but would like a second opinion on what can be changed on the build to make it better because some areas are just impossible for me to do by myself.

Thanks.

Probably you'd want armor battle caster feat so you don't get ASF in Mithral FP. Not sure if you need any armor proficiency feat also.
I've got on mine also martial weapon proficiency but i just like using greatswords/falchions and any kind of weapons really considering what am i going to fight so i've dropped KD/IKD for Martial weapons and Battle Caster.

Okay, with that I could wear mithral full plate, right?

Would need to drop KD and IKD for the proficiencies, or Thoughness and IKD that way I won't need to reroll and lose experience, you think it's worth it this way?

For evasion to work - you need to wear a light mithral armor, therefore i would start with either 14/16+4 Dex (spell or item).

Why not get 30 spellcraft points = +6 saves vs spell.
Toughness is available on items also.

Raise you Dex to 14 so with cat spell you could reach 18 for the 6/4 mith chainmal.

You don't need KD but you forget curse song.

Maybe need power attack and IPA to increase damage?

With med armor you will lose evasion, Don't do that. And take steadfast determination for the roll 1 failure.

What should I dump for this?

Toughness can be found on a ring (two rings now) and shouldn't be taken unless you're going for Steadfast. So you could drop that for Curse Song. Or drop KD/IKD for Steadfast and Curse Song.

The chainmail they're talking about is the Melodic Chainmail (I think that's it's name?), which adds +3 cha as well, so you really only need to end at 13 cha. (could raise int to 14 with that). And you definitely want to end at 14 base dex.

Chorus of Heroism isn't necessarily needed. It's useful for group play certainly, but you could drop base str by 1 and get 1 more from epic feats. That'd allow you to get 14 dex and either 13 con or 14 cha.
