The appearance editor NPC in Sshamath's internal Market structure appears to have broken dialogue.

He offers the ability to customise regeneration cloak appearances, but after following the only dialogue option to conclusion, nothing happens and no offers or models are spawned for editing.

I was wondering if this is a bug, or if it is an incomplete feature, and if the latter why not just scrap these NPCs from the game world atm and release whatever lock is in place on certain appearance items so we cna customise them.

It does not make sense for select, high-end items to be locked in appearance but the majority of everything else to be flexible.

Some of the override choices in appearance changers are so extreme anyway that I cannot imagine item fidelity was the reason for this.

Side note, he also makes mention of armour edits, but then says Wight Armour is not worthy - yet it costs tens of thousands and gives +4 AC and loads of skill buffs.

Just use the appearance kit for changing.

The appearance changing kit as in the one from the menu or is there an actual kit?

The menu forbids you to change 'end-game' armour and cloaks, which I thought was a very bizarre restriction to inforce.

It's an item you can buy from the duergar in Gloura's, it offers a lot more appearances in addition to the standard one .

Plus has less chances of making your items disappear.
