The spells being recast with RE do not respect MoS

Honestly, it feels like an ever-growing number of spells ignores MoS even without reigniting...

Fireball and Black Tentacles being among the more recent offenders, IIRC.

A good example is Ice Storm. Aganazaar's Scorcher as well. Not sure Prismatic Spray is working with it at all, sadly.

Does MoS treat Familiar and summons different from players? I can test it more if im sure of that.

Correct. Evards is a conjuration spell, reignite only works with evocation, hence the feats name.

My wiz doesn't have Mastery of Shaping yet, but I'll test some when he gets it. So far, and if I remember correctly, Aganazaars scorcher does work with reignite. Ice storm is level 4, so you would need the 'Greater focus: Evocation' feat to reignite that(as per the feat description).

Its not a question of Reignite triggering for the second cast, its a question of why the Reignited casting of the spells is not respecting Mastery of Shaping.

Which might be relevant if I wasn't talking about it ignoring MoS, with or without reignition.

As you already pointed out.

So ill just start listing them as they come up! I've mostly just stopped using AoE spells with Reignite Evocation as it is because i just kill other players.

Mastery of Shaping does not work with Meteor Swarm - Targeted
Reignite Evocation does not work with Greater Fireburst

The latter is working as intended. Fireburst and Greater Fireburst target the caster, and you can only reignite spells targetable at hostile NPCs.

That's again cause it is a kind of cloud spell these don't work with MoS, or at least I think it is the problem here.

I mean the AoE part of it works fine, not tested the self targeted version. Not sure why the 4 RTA part is any different.

Sorry Namni, seems to still be an issue here. I've observed Ice Storm doing friendly damage on Reignite, and I've accidentally killed people with Prismatic Spray Reignited.
