Does anyone know the advantages of one of these spells over the other?

With the custom summon creature spells on our server and the choice to pick spirit bear, I'm not sure if Phantom Bear has any merits to make it a better choice.

Anyone familiar?

Okay, I rolled the dice and went with Summon Creature IX. I was able to compare to Phantom Bear by using a scroll, so I'll go ahead and post a comparison here so that others might learn from this.

This comparison is based on my level 18 Spirit Shaman with both Greater Conjuration Spellfocus and Augment Summoning feats. Both summons will be somewhat less without those two feats applied.

Concealed (not sure of %)

Hope this helps others to decide between spells. Seems these are both useful, with Phantom Bear being more situational. I may very well end up taking both spells for my Spirit Shaman since it fits his RP.

Which leads to my next question: What are the "incorporeal" creatures that one might encounter on our server?

BG - Undercity (wraiths, shadows)
Spirit Troll Caves (Spirit trolls, shadows)
Ulcaster's Ruins (shadows)
Netheril Maze (Netherese ghosts)
Undead Crypts (wraiths; UD only)

There's probably some more around that I never explored during my time on BG.
