Dusty Tome - Auction

Scribblings left throughout Baldur's Gate & Friendly Arm Inn on parchment paper state the following:
I have come into possession of a rare book, I've consulted a few arcane minded individuals and they agree it's worth of immense value and appears to be extremely old. One of great mind, studious and diligent can unlock the secret knowledge inside. I am entertaining offers for such a book. Bidding shall start at 150,000 gold.

The writing is neat, but bears the strokes of a smaller hand. For those examining the parchment (DC 20 survival) see it's rough cut and appears freshly made, it still bears the smell of freshly cut wood with a hint of earth.
