Solomon and Jackard had RP'd playing for a long time, it would be fun to be able to actually play!

There is a darts mini-game as well, that may be a good addition?

agree! Rping while playing chess seems fun. maybe a chessboard at some campfire too

But seriously...wait, I am SERIOUS about that INT thing...it would be a nice addition to the other IG games on BGTSCC.

It would also be cool if this could be a game that PCs could actually carry in their Inventory. PLAY ANYWHERE, ANYTIME!

I was browsing NWN mods and came across the chess mod, so I decided to search the forums to see if it had already been suggested for implementation.

So... consider this a bump and agree to chess getting implemented! Mini-games are always great, and it's fun to be able to pull someone aside in-character and say "hey, let's play this game!" and actually be able to play it IC and OOC. Mod looks pretty neat.

I forgot about this, thanks for the bump! We play a lot of dice games, but this would be fun on another level.

And yes, I am also not nearly as good at chess as I suspect my 30 INT character would be, but it would still be fun!

Yeah, I loaded that module up and played with it like just a few weeks ago even. It was p. fun.

I think the board was p. sloppy, though. I mean the squares don't even line up if you go look at the board.

All my normal RP is like a world-size chess game, in game.

It would be great if every move, you are forced to make an INT check, if which you fail, the game makes a random move for you.

I mean, I am sure quite a few players on this forum are better/worse at playing chess than their characters are.

Too bad...the pawn is the only piece with the greater of possibilities, since it can become whatever piece is needed to WIN, should it succeed to the opponents field!

I'd love to see this applied to the Sava games in the UD, in Bregan's place. We'd be missing the two d8 dice, but it's otherwise very similar.

There is a sava game on the vault, as well. It actually was the predecessor of this one I think.

I love the idea of having an in-game chess mini-game. It could add another layer of depth and strategy to the game. The graphics of the game look stunning, so I can only imagine how beautiful the chess pieces and board would look in-game. I've been playing a lot of games on my phone lately, and I actually stumbled upon this article about bubblecash games you can play to win real money. It's always fun to discover new ways to potentially earn some extra cash while having fun.
As a new member of this forum, I'm excited to be part of this community and see what other great ideas and discussions will come up.

This would be a dream come true.
