Selecting new Prohibitive School removes Specialist School

Is this normal?

I created a Wizard and choose Transmutation specialist school at creation. Then, I went into the Character Sheet and activated the Custom Feat to choose a new Prohibited School. I choose Necromancy (because I want to use Conjuration spells as well).

After making my final selection in the School Chooser GUI window, the new prohibited school of Necromancy appeared in the Character Sheet, but now my Wizard is also a "General" Spellcasting Feat—the Transmutation Focus feat disappeared.

After logging in/out, it is still like this. So...is this normal, and did my PC now loss the extra benefits of Specialization? I mean, the available spells in the Book look like the right number, but....

If you still have your bonus spells for specialising and the Necromancy prohibition works as intended, I wouldn't worry about it.

I remember that one of those character sheet tabs actually corresponds to character "templates" chosen in the character creation process, designed for lazy newbs playing the OC who pick "auto" on level ups.

If you didnt set your template to "Transmuter" at creation, quite irregardless of whether you 'auto' the level up process or not, it will display "Generalist" on that section of the character sheet by default. This has no effect on your actual specialisation or bonus slots granted therefrom. It is just a code flag telling the game which feats to prefer if you hit "auto" on the level up screen.

Well, I do think something went wrong.

I tried again, creating a throwaway PC with the same Build, but this time I made sure to get out the Nexus and Rest, then logged in/out, then selected my new Prohibited school. And this time, Transmutation stayed in the Character Sheet and Necromancy appeared as the new Prohibited (replacing the default Conjuration).

So yeah, I do think there is a bug where if you use the RCR and DO NOT actually Rest the toon outside the Nexus, before choosing a new Prohibitive School, before continuing to Level, something strange will happen.
