"I am disappointed Oak-Father, you send your warriors of oak and root to challenge me yet even in there greatest numbers non has stood up to my power. . . Is this really the best you can muster?"

"For years I have laid your servants of nature low, to teach them their greatest lesson in humility. Even in their defeat they stand back up, dust themselves off, and charge me again egar to halt my path towards the greatest imbalance of your natural dogma. Are all your followers so foolish? Are they all so weak? So naive?"

"Perhaps it is I who is the fool for over-estimating the prowess of your sacred Elder Wood followers."

"Show me that I am wrong Oak-Father. . ."

"Show me that your devouts have power to defend against the greatest of evils that dare face them. . ."

"For I am not the greatest of evils. . ."

"Nor will I be the last. . ."

"But through me. . ."

"Maybe I can open their eyes. . ."

"And prepare your defenders for the premonitions of doom I have foreseen with my All-Seeing Eyes."

The halfling would leave a heavy desecration lingering on the alter of Silvanus as she stares into the eyes of the Oak-Father half in fear of what is to come and the other half curious of the repercussions of her actions towards him.

"Maybe this will get your attention. . ."

Fey-featured,  feathered by nature  and  artfully favored,  the woman's  approach  of the shrine  during  the  next
day is met with intense silence. An ebon gaze, depthless and darker shaded in witness, drinks of the scene; stilled
breath growing tight in her chest. Abreast, one hand, gently sets upon an obsidian trinket.

Summer's Daughter  -- neither priest,  nor druid --  does what she might to  lessen the effects of desecration until
another,  capable  consecrator;  holier than she,  might venture  beneath tree's canopy.  Slender fingers, failing to
reinvigorate  plant  life  through essence,  work gently to remove  the corrupted flora that's  to be reseeded when
aught of tainted earth is clearer made.

Nearer the end of shrine's tend,  solo sung and haunting,  a voice risen to  the heavens beckons downpour;  storm
singer,  rain bringer,  she.  One final act to wash away the physical  ramifications  of destruction's  defile  thereby
marked with thunderous clap.

Lest any arrive in the time between,  a way bequeathed through the passage of trees  delivers the news to grove.

A Druid stops by in no apparent hurry, wondering what the fuss might be. He looks around finding little amiss, nature doing it's work. He pauses to lift an old chestnut from the ground. He ponders a moment before relocating it. He plants a couple of saplings in a proper well rounded manner. He stands back to admire his efforts. He prays a moment to Silvanus but if there is any answer he does not appear to react to it, and is soon on his way.

Whatever dark taint was laid at the shrine, or even still lingered, the area in question would be found consecrated by holy energy by any who passed by during the following evening. The deep swelling of positive energy would last well into the morning, and perhaps even into noon the next day. Save for a trail of grassy footprints, no sign of whoever left the consecration would remain.

*Many individuals gather to investigate the shrine's desecration and mention of attacks on travelers in the area are told among the gathered , a rumor spreads it was consecrated again and withered plants around it replanted and tended anew*
