Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Hi!

So, I would like to get to playing, but I've been having some trouble getting a build together. I've remade the character a few times, and I've mostly decided on pure druid, or 'mostly' pure druid. Most builds I've adjusted on NWN2DB seem to not work here for one reason or another.

I also haven't built a character in NWN2 for a -while-. I was wondering if someone might offer some build links that work for a pure druid build here, or a hybrid that might work? I can adjust if I see fit for my character, I would just like a starter point. x.x

I would like to build around dragon shape, however if at all possible, I would like some decent out-of-shape melee. Weapon doesnt matter, but I favor a blade.

Dragon druid is the easiest class on BG in terms of building imho, even simplier than strength bard. You're just bumping all you have into wisdom, the remaining stat distribution is irrelevant. Among the feats, you'll need CE, ICE, Natural spell, Extend spell, Spell focus (Conjuration) feat line, Great wisdom epic feats and finally Dragon shape. Decent out of shape melee is impossible on this build though, there's been some exotic druid builds that can do it, but they can't turn into dragons, so one or another.

If interested in druid I recommend reaching out to metaquad4, if he's still around. He has some of the most interesting build ideas for Druids IMO. For example he had a fairly exotic Druid/Spirit Shaman/Hierophant that ended up getting the highest DCs I have seen if you would rather go caster route instead of Dragon Druid. His builds are, in general pretty unique and may not be for a beginner, but this goes to show his advanced knowledge of the mechanics around Druid so he could probably build a more traditional 'pure' Druid with one or two tweaks that would help differentiate what you're trying to do. Not sure if he is active these days or not, but you could try PM'ing him or reaching out to him on Discord.

Or alternatively, search with bgtscc text filter and must have druid filter.

In general, I don't see "unique" combos often. Most people have thought up the same thing (or extremely similar) and/or copied it in the past.
