Archmage - Mastery of Shaping

I've searched other threads on this topic, but I'm still not 100% clear on an answer to this question: Does Mastery of Shaping work with necro spells like Negative Energy Burst or Kor'Vain's Blackfire or Horrid Wilting?
Similarly, does it work on the enchantment spells Chaos or Confusion?
I've read that that MoS doesn't work on clouds, but does work on AoE burst and cone spells. So I figure it will work on those necro spells. Not sure about Chaos.
Can anyone help confirm it works on those spells mentioned above?
