A Techsmith makes her first gondsman (RP Story/thread)

((Forum RP is honestly taking place when she gains her first level of Techsmith. Just got her to 2nd level so I hope it is not minded as much. This RP is intended to be a display of taking her first steps as a techsmith. Her initiation if you will.))

Meru sends a notice to Shay Morgan at the Blushing Mermaid Tavern to meet her at the Temple of Gond. She would be waiting at the temple, helping out and assisting other techsmiths and craftsmen while there. Before sending the message, Meru would gather up all the materials she would need and she would see about building it at the temple itself, letting them host it as a public exhibition in order to help raise funds for the temple if they so choose to.

Shay woke up as his head was slapped. The young man had fallen asleep on the table. He woke up with a grunt and balled his fists. Noticing it was one of the barmaids, he asked forgiveness and took the message. Lips smacked as he read the message. He ruffled his crown and flipped on his hood as he took off towards the Temple of Gond

Meru continues to prep. Ensuring that she has all the tools, components and schematics at hand. In order to speed up the presentation she would be using components she set up ahead of time this way all she had to do would be to finish a final assembly, enchant and install the core and 'awaken' her creation.

Everything would then be laid out for display as she awaited the scheduled time of day to begin her work.

As shay arrived, she would greet him warmly, a bit of hit usual eccentricity on display and she would be hurrying around. "Shay, glad you got my message. Today is the day I can finally become an actual techsmith." She would say this, smile beaming brightly.

Shay offered a warm smile in return as he found himself a place to sit

“G’morning, lass. Thanks fer lettin’ a man know! I’ll allow m’self ta be amazed! Good luck and if I can help by handin’ ye somethin’, just tell me!

I’m realleh curious how ye’ll fare, so I am!”

And with suspense building, he regarded that which was about to transpire
