A few billboards positioned outside Baldur's Gate, the Friendly Arm, and Soubar bear new parchment hanging from them, with shaky penmanship spelling fourth the following:

Recently recovered from subterranean holdings, I've come into the possession of an ancient tome of indeterminate contents. And thus, I seek a more deserving keeper willing to elevate the knowledge it holds from the forgotten to the known, and to help fund my future excursions.

Given the values offered for similar finds among the more recent postings, I feel confidant in requesting a minimum offer of half a hundred-thousand coins of gold. Those willing to match or supersede such, please make your marks below.
