Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Menolly is a very lovely cooper colored wood elf... up until I rest and then suddenly she is an albino elf. It's not a huge game breaking bug, but it does break a bit of the immersion element of the RP going on. I am fairly certain it is the barkskin spell that is the culprit.

It's odd, I always thought it was at least partly connected to wildshaping on Amaetha...

Does it happen only if you had barkskin before rest ?

I've occasionally done it by returning to elf form, not resting. Offhand, I can't remember a single time I did it by removing Barkskin…

In fact, as a high-level druidess, Am no longer uses Barkskin on herself... but Tortoise Shell also changes character appearance, so there may still be some relevance.

I'm used to seeing that bug only as a druid wildshaping, myself, but while it isn't a fix-fix, you can usually get rid of the effect by taking your helm off and putting it back on again.

Graphical error, 9/10 times can be fixed by transition or remove/replace an item in effected areas. (also a great way to "Hide" vfx from spells like the discoloration from Tortise shell or Spiderskin.)
This could be a client-side issue in which case there is no way to fix it server-side.

It seems that is was actually the stone skin... as the greater stone skin now turns me purple lol
