A day after the posters are initially put out, a short message is tacked beneath each one, below that, a blank scroll.
We're looking for all sorts of contributions for the upcoming Shieldmeet. Whether you're a merchant wishing to sell your wares, a tavern owner wishing to provide food or drinks, or simply an individual or group wishing contribute in some other way, feel free to leave a message here with your name and what you can contribute and we'll be in touch. If you wish to speak to us directly, come on over to the Siren's Song to have a chat.
If you'd like to participate in the events themselves, many of them are still being organized, a sign-up list will likely follow once times are confirmed. A martial tournament hosted by the Bladestone Foundation and a mage duel hosted by Eroan of the Phoenix Company have both been confirmed, and an archery tournament is being discussed as well. Keep an eye on these notices if you'd like to participate in any of them.
This city has seen devils, undead, and far more, but remains strong. In spirit of it, I want to showcase the city's strength and make this Shieldmeet memorable.
Respectfully,
Fenix Wandersoul
Captain of the Siren's Song
//The planned date for the festival is Sunday, July 5th. It's likely going to extend for at least a few hours over the day, with different groups doing their own thing. If you'd like for your PC or guild to participate, no matter how big or small, feel free to post here! Once we get a better idea of the amount of groups/people contributing, we'll post more about times/etc, so stay tuned!//

The captain of the Siren's Song can be seen on occasion speaking to different individuals about contributing to the upcoming festival.
//Hello! Due to misreading the date of Shieldmeet, I'm rescheduling the festival to Sunday, August 2nd. It's apparently closer to the actual date, and gives more time to prepare.//
