I would like to say a big "Thank You!" and "Congratulations!" to Rhifox for volunteering and being approved to join QC. Volunteering time and energy to assist in discussions around game balance and testing the fantastic new classes, feats, spells, area's that are introduced by our wonderful developers and area builders is also taking time away from other things she could be doing and it is very much appreciated. Please join me in congratulating our new staff member!
As an aside, if anyone believes they have a strong grasp of how the NWN2 engine and game mechanics works from a functional standpoint and also can work in a Team environment, I encourage you to submit an application for review. The template for your submission can be found here and should be sent as a Private Message to Quality Control and Global Admin groups. I would like to highlight the third question on the application which may be more important than the other two in determining a candidates potential as any staff member.
Cheers and congratulations again to Rhifox!

It is inevitable that staff side there will be folks on opposite sides of a potential enhancement, bug fix or any other change and decisions are not always going to go the way we as individuals might like. So long as we all keep the trust that each individual is attempting to do what they believe is best for the server as a whole and leave our ego's outside conversations, then even when decisions don't go our way the server will be a more fun experience for everyone.QC Application wrote:3) Are you willing to work with others? A QC decision may not always go your way, and it's important you understand that there is some compromise at play with this role.
Cheers and congratulations again to Rhifox!
