A notice is placed outside Candlekeep as well as circulated around the Gate:
Anyone willing to sell rare tomes of long-lost lore that may be of value to Candlekeep please contact Lucia, either in person, by envoy or by using magical sending.
Trades can be in coin or valuable magical items.
