Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I have 8 levels in ranger, (which allows casting lvl 2 spells with 0 casts), and an item that gives a bonus lvl 2 spell, and I don't get any lvl 2 spell! Here I was thinking I knew most of the rules, and am still getting surprised after all these years! I tested in jegs and If I get a bonus spell from wisdom then I can also get the bonus spell from an item, but otherwise, no luck. If you get the bonus spell and your wisdom drops, you lose both the spells from wisdom, and the bonus spell from the item. I doubt it'll be fixed but at least this little detail is posted now. Its really messing with my build

It might not even be fixable... though depending on how much extra WIS you need, it should be relatively easy to work around?

To memorize/cast a lv2 spell you need WIS 12. How much do you have ?

yes, I have 12 wisdom (9 and a +3 wis item). And yes I could shift my attributes around, but I didn't know until now and would have to RCR. Hopefully this will prevent RCRs for other people!
