The halberd has several glaive appearance options. These are models that involve a curved sword-like blade at the tip of the shaft. I propose that these appearance options also be added to the scythe.

The reason for this request is that, frankly, scythes are an incredibly dumb weapon. They are a farming implement that is incredibly unwieldy to use in combat. But there is a type of scythe that is a viable combat weapon: the war scythe. The war scythe is essentially the blade part of the scythe turned so that it faces vertically instead of horizontally.



Adding the glaive appearance options to scythes would allow scythe-users to replicate war scythes.

There is also the fauchard, which is an evolution of the war scythe with an even closer resemblance to glaives.

Glaive appearances that should be added as an option for scythes:

I could get behind this, even though I don't use scythes.

Then again, I prefer more realistic weapon designs on the whole, and can't stand the Kit Rae wannabee monstrosities that are so prevalent in fantasy games.

Totally support this idea. I am all for giving weapons and armors more realistic and practical looks instead of just fancy fantasy options.

I'd love this, tbh. Scythes are...an odd weapon. Like a spoon, but sharper. It'd be nice to give them a more weaponized appearance.
