"It was considered a dialect of Primordial, so that creatures who spoke one of the other elemental dialects such as Aquan, Auran or Terran could understand Ignan and vice-versa.[1]"
It would be super cool if all Genasi could just naturally understand each other since its actually in the lore, rather than having to physically take all the languages as separate choices.
Just after playing/RPing as a Genasi for the last little bit, i've found this has popped up a few times.

Heck, give all characters one bonus language (for regional language) at start, no matter their Int, and give genasi 4 (for primordials).
I am also OK with this, though I think Foreigner gives this if you take it as background. Minus the Genasi part. They give no mechanical bonus, just more RP options, so like, why not?

True. You could just give genasi a genasi-exclusive background feat that gives 4 languages? With rules that those should only be used on primordial languages. (if you can't just set the languages directly)

No, I mean there is already a background called Foreigner (Not a feat.) But none the less, thats a great idea. Just give Genasi a fee feat @ level 1 that provides all the Promordial languages elusively (if this is possible) or gives 4 language choices for free, meant elusively to be promordial languages.

Languages can be set directly and already are for some races/classes.

Yeah, I know, I use it. I just meant, one could be added to Genasi too. But Chad is right, I forgot about classes having set languages. So giving genasi set languages sounds good to me!
