Maltz Quest Not Updating Correctly

Maltz Quest was given an additional step this update. Unfortunately, we missed updating the journal for the quest to account for the new step.

In the meanwhile, for players who get stuck:

Thunderhammer has the correct dialogue pointing you on the next step of the quest, but if you don't read it, you won't know. You need to go to the ruined chapel on Trade Way North of Beregost after talking to Thunderhammer. Once you get the stock from the NPC there, your quest journal will complete, but the quest is not complete. You will still need to return the stock to Maltz in Baldur's Gate in order to get your reward.

We'll get the journal fixed for next update.

*Edit* Additional note: If you take dialogue choices that result in killing the NPC, he does not drop Maltz's stock. Avoid killing him until that is fixed if you want to complete the quest.

Ive done all that and now when you get to maltz there is no option to turn it in. But quest is in the journal.

The quest has been updated in an attempt to fix it since my original post. We'll look into what's not working now.

All just worked fine for me (got XP). (had killed the imp (and got the goods now))

Did the whole thing on a wizy. Same options save the bugger. All went great turned it in. Druid still cant turn it in so bummer i guess. Must be just her thats bugged.

Want to add here that the Mephit doesn't seem to spawn consistently. It's happened three times so far that it didn't spawn, on two different PCs. Is there a condition other than talking to Thunderhammer to have it spawn?

If he doesn't spawn the first time, just leave and re-enter. That should spawn him.

That's what I did this time and it didn't work.
