Can someone help me outline a build like this? Would the 4th class be Monk?

Not sure what is the bard for, Assassin spellcasting meets spellcasting criteria for AA.
Monk is very useful addition to archers (IMO) because aside of evasion, you can get ki step and monk speed.

guess it's for skill access. Ba3/ASSi8/F12/AA7 Ra3(Hunter) could be better.

Or something like this Bard20+/SD3/AA7

8bard/5elemental archer/8assassin/9AA works fine.

The "Meta" Archer IIRC is something that includes Fighter 4-12, Assassin 8 or 9, Arcane Archer 7-10 and then some other fourth class that will allow for qualifying for assassin sooner (sometimes).

Thoughts on the above?

If you are aiming to do the fighter assassin, the winner build is either 8Fighter/4WoD/9Assassin/9AA or 8Fighter/5EA/8Assassin/9AA. 8fighter/5EA/8assassin/9AA assumes level 30, because you wont get HiPS til 24 (8fighter/5EA before you can take assassin, so 8/5/4/3 is your level 20). If you can suffer that long, it gets the highest AB and damage of any fighter/assassin/AA build. HiPS is a huge life saver for a low AC archer build, especially with the -8AB you'll have due to manyshot. With Fighter/WoD/Assassin/AA WoD gets hide/ms, so if you aim skills right you can get assassin at level 7 or 8, and have HiPS by 20 (5fighter/4WoD/8Assassin/3AA).

i have an old school AA, pre assassin qual build, shes one of my drow 8 bard 9 AA 9 assassin 4 guild thief

pretty fun tho so i havent changed her at all, it just depends what you want out of a build
