Regarding the next update

Hello to our Players, Devs and DMs! I'm writing this post to give everyone a heads up about the size and content of the next update.
Our Devs don't often get spoiled with new content goodies, and that's what this next update is aiming to fix. With the server split coming up we will have a chance to make more maps, and larger ones. In anticipation of this, there will be a large expansion on placeables, props and terrain features. We're all excited to be able to provide new and higher-quality content for our Devs, and are looking forward to what they will be able to build out of it.
All the same, we want to make sure people are aware that due to its content, this next update will be quite large and some players may need to set aside time for downloads. There is some content going in for players (a small expansion of female faces, and some fixes here and there) but the majority of the download will not be immediately apparent.
As these new packs can take up a fair bit of space, Media Team is also looking at streamlining and compressing previous .hak files in the future, to help free up some space for our players.
At the moment we are unable to give a very accurate estimate on the actual size of the update, just a heads up that it will be a chunky boi (a few hundred MB at least). The update can be expected in the coming days.
Thanks everyone for your patience, and we hope you like the new content

Awsome news.
The only thing that annoys me is that placebles are gone on reset right? Any chance to get them permanent until destroyed /removed by players? So players could build shrines and other places?

Placeables refer to any prop that area builders can make interactive in a map, items that you can hover over to highlight. PC Props are player-placed placeables. This update does not add new PC Props, just new placeables for area builders to create levels with. For instance, we're getting new chest appearances, new tables, statues, etc.
It should be possible to make PC Props persist between resets, but it requires a bit of work to make that happen. Don't expect this to happen soon, but it is on my list of possibilities to investigate, since it could help facilitate new RP.

To know it is on the list is enough.
It would encourage a lot of rp around yes. But server split and things neccesary to improve state of server should go first yes.

I'm not actually one of the people working on setting up the server split; I'm just not working on this yet because I'm a little burned out from a recent update to the loot chest system and I've got another idea or two to try that are waiting on DM approval before I can try them.
Pretty much all of my projects are small things related to letting people use their character sheet in more ways/new ways or quality-of-life improvements for RP mechanics like making PC Props persist across resets. (I was the one who touched PC Props last to make it so they keep the description you set in the DMFI tool when you put them on the ground and removed the PC/account tag so you can't metagame who placed a prop.) The folks working on the big stuff like classes, balance, new areas, and the server split are Valefort, Endelyon, Nimne, and Rad-Icarus.

If new placeables are being added I'd like to request one. That mighty fine looking 'Cooking Pot' in Cloakwood East.
The Roasting Spit sold in the placeables store looks rather out of place as part of a camp, whereas the Cooking Pot looks spot on.
Cheers
