Hello!

I seem to recall that there was a ranger class/prc you could choose that didn't have spells but had a unique 'trap setting' ability or feat?

was this a prc or just a feat for rangers?

it doesn't indicate, at what level can we take hunter?
I've hit 12th level as a ranger and still haven't seen the 'Hunter' option show up yet...is it disabled?

You can and should take it at lv1.
There is a feat called ranger kit - just use it.
