hey all,
I'm kinda curious about the hunter class - do they get the usual ranger combat style progression (archery or 2 sword) as they level?
thanks for any info.

Hi Ahku,
Yes, they get the usual combat style progression. If you take hunter as a kit and choose two-weapon fighting as your style, then you will get the appropriate style feats at levels 6, 11, 21. This means in that taking hunter you will get some ranged feats as well.
Bare in mind that hunter is considered ranger 1 for its first level, and every level after that is hunter when you take a ranger level. For example, if you went pure hunter you would be ranger 1 hunter 29, and you would gain your first hunter feat at character level 2 which means you will get manyshot at character level 11. This is only worth noting because while the style lines up with ranger, the kit feats do not.
Hope that helps

Re: Hunter class (ranger)
Thanks for the feedback!
I am looking at the Hunter Trapping skill(s) and am wondering how do you choose the different traps?
Barbed Traps
Entangling Traps
Poison Traps
These above Trap Feats do not seem usable in quick slots, how do we use them?
The only Feat that is usable in quick slots is the Hunter Trapping Feat.
I have to saw this Hunter PRC is pretty interesting.
thanks!

If I recall correctly, all those feats apply to the single trap feat. So if you have all three you'll have a barbed, entangling, poisonous trap.
