Long Load Time

As of this past week, it's been taking an insanely long time to initially log into the game. It used to load in about 10-15 seconds. It's now taking about 2-3 minutes.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I think it might be related to the recent server update.

Same, takes a long time to get into the server.

Same happens now all the time. Usually it did only happen after a crash, but now it's worse.

From what I've heard over the wire, it's due to a new/updated CDKey/IP check that's been added. Unsure why there would be such a huge difference in load times, though. Not too annoying for me personally. Just weird.

I just experienced a 23 minutes load in/log in time.

Been experiencing long load times since the October 29, 2020 server updates.
I have been experiencing from about 15 minutes to 25 minutes load times for the section '1) Checking for out-of-date content.' then another about minute to fully load a character into the Nexus room.
Prior to October 29 server updates, it used to take my computer in total about minute to fully load a character into the Nexus room.

Same experience as the others here. Since the last update that rolled everything back it's been taking 3+ minutes for the "checking for out-of-date content" step.

This should be resolved.
You might get a long load time the first time your client caches the server files, but subsequent attempts should be instant even if you close NWN2.

I'm not sure what buttons you pushed or levers you pulled, but it's now loading lightning fast for me.
BGTSCC can again proclaim itself the "quicker server"!!
