Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I just got the game for my son and I was excited about playing with him. When he decided that he was going to play as a rouge I decided that I was going to retire and old character and gift him all the items from the character. I'm wondering if there is any way that this character "Danny Black" can be rolled back of if some of the really nice items could be replaced. I honestly dont even remember what some of them were. I've tried getting ahold of a DM through game and I'm not getting an answer. I've also got a screen shot of the chat and the bugged bags....

Are the items still there?

I believe if you rotate the camera around you can grab them.

Nexus is a bit tricky about dropping items. Basically, making a campfire or using barter in there is way more efficient.
In order to pick up items you accidentally put on ground, you need to rotate your camera angle to find the position when items start being targetable. It's tricky but once you learn it, it will be fast and smooth.
If items are lost, you can ask DM team via forums about restoring them. Basically, they don't restore items lost due to dropping them to ground with coming reset/crash, because there are safe ways to transfer items existing, but it's up to them to decide if situation requires them to restore items or not.

This inability to pick up bags used to NOT be a problem! And, recently, LT said they put in a fix to the Nexus to prevent such issues. So what’s really going on?

Can we post a PSA in the "reserved string" after loading the game and before Create Character or Select Character?

Public Service Announcement: The hard-surface perimeter is the only safe place to drop items in the Nexus. Consider the semi-transparent floor a risk-of-loss for transferring items by dropping them due to the floor's multiple depths. Alternatives to dropping items that are not impacted by the semi-transparent floor are 1) using a campfire or 2) soliciting help from another player to Mule.

Its can be picked up from anywhere on the nexus you just need to perform vodoo with your camera in the middle of the glass floor.

You need to rotate it so it is facing you from underneath, commonly using exploration mode, and select the item as it just appears on the ground in front of you.

Or, if I’m reading the information correctly, rebuild the Nexus so the floor under where on logs in, is made solid/opaque, thus fixing the issue once and for all.

Really wish i would have checked this earlier... Got on and unfortunately server had been reset. Gonna post something in the lost and found, maybe somebody picked it up... here's to keeping my fingers crossed.

You can ask the admin team for a rollback on your account if these items can't be recovered.

well i really hate what their dont to Nexus you cant pick item in a quick way it is really Tacky

How would I go about asking the admin team for a roll back? Cause I am starting to think that those items are gone... but then again this would be a nice way to really start over. Cause A LOT has changed since back in the day when I played...

It was a lot of good gear and I would hate to see it lost. Heck some of that gear had custom names and lore as well so it had a personal touch. Also, now that I think about it; I would like to role play that character with my son, so yeah, if the admins can roll it back I'd really appreciate it. Is me asking on hear enough or do I need to send someone a PM?

Send a PM to the Global Admin group to make the request.
