Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

The wiki description for 'Weapon Mastery (Unarmed)' does not mention that it gets disabled while wearing a shield on the BGtSCC wiki, although it does in NWN2DB. How does it work on BGtSCC?

In testing this out to provide an answer, will have to admit that it is "not quite sure".

On equipping a Light, Heavy, or Tower Shield with Weapon Mastery (Unarmed) you get the following message:

However, the removal of your +2 Attack/Damage bonus only occurs for the first action of equipping the shield after a rest. After that, if you were to swap in the shield in and out once more, the bonuses from WM(U) remain. As this seems to be an obvious oversight in the implementation of the feat, I wouldn't count on the benefit sticking around for too much longer now that it has been brought up. However, currently, it does "work" with shields.

I hope it does remain. I'm struggling enough to come up with a non-Monk unarmed character as it is.
