Morgandy is notably demure with lips that are full and soft to the touch. She has quietly expressive hazelnut eyes and long dark hair that curls freely to her lower back. Her body is slender with shapely legs and a small waist that is balanced with a toned upper body and gently rounded hips. She does not have the bearing of a natural born fighter, but she is wearing the mantle of one who is learning how to defend themselves.

Versed in the ways of alchemy, her parents ran a small apothecary in the hamlet of Jalanthar. Betsy and Wilhelm were responsible entrepreneurs and loving parents who taught their children the basics of herbalism and how to run a successful shop. Morgandy would venture out into the forest to gather raw materials for her lessons and during those outings she would admire the wild life and practice sketching the abundant plants growing in the woods. Things went on in tranquility until the year Morgandy turned eighteen. It was an unusually difficult summer and the region had suffered a drought that made it hard to forage and caused a shortage of food and resources. Thus, a tribe of Uthgardt barbarians began raiding the villages nearby. It was only a matter of months before danger arrived on their doorstep and broke the peace they had known.

The beasts slaughtered her parents and ransacked her home, she and her brothers fled and made their way to the nearest civilized post outside of Jalanthar. Desperation helped the girl evade what would have been a deadly outcome, but news of the tragedy traveled fast and so had the barbarians. To avoid being enslaved by the tribe, she and her brothers left their homeland with only the clothes they had on their backs and the knowledge they had gained during better times. It was a hard transition for Morgandy and two full year's cycle passed before she and her kin parted ways. Kalum and Dace, her brothers, have started building a life for themselves outside of Daggerford in a small farming community. She traveled onward, not wanting to settle into a field hand's routine.

Suffering grief from the loss of their parents, she found respite in the forests and the quiet places, they reminded her of home as she struggled to work through the way her life had changed. The alchemist's daughter soon finding herself on the road to the Gates and to begin rebuilding her life anew. And, to perhaps find an answer and a purpose.
