I think we should remove Deflecting Sweep deflecting sweep (1 Deflection AC, +1 for every ten parry ranks) from the One Weapon feat. It doesn't stack with a deflection item, and almost everyone will have one.

Agree. It already activates only 1/2 the time, having one of its activations be worthless is a bit annoying.

My swash with 60 parry disagrees! (alright, I don't actually have one ... and I'm not sure if it's base ranks or total ranks ... but maxed parry still gives you +4 )

Could it be changed to bonus shield AC maybe?

Scaled at same rate as elaborate parry . Would mean that 1/4 of the time, a duelist with a Shielding rapier can gain +2 Shield AC on top of their weapon's for 1 or 2 rounds.

I'm pretty sure its ranks, though I have 0 ranks in parry so who knows? Also if you are swashbuckling, go duelist. It gives the same ability, but caps at +5 deflection instead of plus 4.

How much value are you guys expecting from a single, low requirement feat?

I mean, I could list a large assortment of feats with low requirements that totally make or break a build.

Blinding Strike
Steadfast Determination
ICE
Zen Archery
Weapon Finesse

I could come up with more if I spent more than 2 seconds thinking about it.

One weapon really makes or breaks build that don't wish to wield a shield.

Even with one weapon. I find using a shield and axe gives me better AC by 3-5point sometimes. Aside from that the post is not asking for a straight buff to the feat but rather to remove redundancy from the feat. Allowing further better options to land more.

I'm asking for ... lower "value" I suppose!
