Name: Gamman
Race: Gnome
Class: Monk, Pale Master
Diety: Nebelun (Gond)
Appearance: Gamman has golden-metallic skin and brittle hair. He has a somewhat unpleasant, pungent smell that is like rusty iron. He has a deep resonant voice that sounds like its coming from a hollow chest. His eyes are usually fixed at a far point in the distant, so that it is unclear if he is observing something or lost in thought. He is usually under the effect of an enlarge person spell and looks like a stout humanoid of about human proportions. He is extremely heavy and thumps when he walks, although he is not apparently fat.
Backstory: Gamman is from the ancient Netherese Golden Age. When the city collapsed, as a valued slave-advisor to the high mage, he was put into a stasis chamber (effectively a time stop spell) to be rescued later. He was never rescued, and stayed in the stasis chamber for thousands of years. His body, which he considers has attained a state of perfection, is a result of a brilliant process, through meditation and ingesting expensive alchemical substances that are mostly made of gold powder along with other metal powders, some herbs, special roots, some self-inflicted minor surgeries and, of course, channeling necrotic energies to a much lesser degree than most pale masters. Although, the maintenance of his state is less intensive than the process of becoming what he is. He spent most of his years in the Turning Wheel temple of Gond in Raven's Bluff, where he was tolerated because of his devotion to Gond and his learning and contributions in metalurgy and other alchemical arts. His knowledge of the arcane is surprisingly limited, his knowledge of history and geology is unreliable in spite of his long life because his memory about his life is different from his academic knowledge, and is effected by his ascetic practices. He often recalls what he needs to know in dreams instead of when he tries to remember.
