Improved Disarm should remove any Weapon disarmed from the Hotbar, if it is on the opponents bar (this is what we usually do). Is that no longer the case? Because it does take some time to reopen Inventory, find the weapon, and reequip it.

I’m all for improving Disarm feats.
Maybe, like when Shifted, the Inventory window can be disabled for 1-2 rounds? I’m skeptical that it could be scripted to prevent Weapon equipping, so maybe the above is one way to do it?

the main issue with vanilla Improved disarm is that it had it had a fairly solid chance to destroy weapons, because it only put it in your equipped weapons if you had no weapon equipped. This meant the item either 1) wasn't spawned, or 2) could be spawned on the ground in unreachable locations.
Locking inventory dosen't stop people equipping things, but managing to do so anyway is considered exploitive.
What might be more reasonable is applying a brief melee damage debuff, and/or melee AB debuff to the target's weapon.
What numbers ould even have an impact would clearly vary vastly depending on the tier of character, since -10 damage would newter some builds and barely impact others. Also, I have no idea if the "No Damage" property actually affects all weapon damage.

And agree that this does take time for some and can honestly be the wining factor in some pvp battles. Its one of those things nobody seems just assume or expect. And even then, throwing it in your inventory makes a person go through and find it. It's really not that easy sometimes because it even removes the item associations from your quick bars. To say that players are quick to do that shouldn't be seen as a penalty to the feat.
There's been a lot of changes recently and I am certainly starting to worry about how certain things might effect powercreep. Disarm can easily become the win-all if buffed to a certain degree.
Disarm is primarily used for pvp and that's where it'll effect the most. Most monsters from my recollection cannot be disarmed at it is - so maybe something can be done to that end?

There's a good number of monsters that wield weapons that are immune to disarms, even though they're not bosses.
Alas IIRC it's a very tedious process to enable disarm for them.

Maybe improved disarm could trigger a one round slow effect. People who can quickly rearm their weapon will still be slowed, and it won’t effect anyone who takes more than 6 seconds to rearm.

Allowing mobs to be disarm able is checking a box for the mob in the Toolset. The aspect of just how boring it is to go through each and every mob type, is what probably prevents a general fixing of the problem.

That’s a great idea,in addition to the actual disarming-to-inventory that happens.

-reflex check DC 15-25(maximum) or be slowed.
-if you have freedom of movement, you will be immune to slow.
-if you have mind immunity(not affected by the mind tricks). you will be immune to slow

Think the DC should scale with BAB. Something like 10 + BAB would give a decent chance to use it in PvE.
