Suggestion: BG spellbook set as Divine, qualifies for DD reqs.

Here is a suggestion: like Assassins spellbook qualifies for Arcane Archer reqs., designate the Blackguard spellbook as Divine, and allow to fulfill the reqs of Darkfire Disciple. Or, any Divine spell reqs, really (optional).

Gonna admit, I initially thought by "DD reqs" it meant Dragon Disciple!
That aside, I think this is a great idea, give some more functionality/uses to a class rarely ever used!

I would love to see BG and Assassin upon up for casting specific classes, such as paladin and ranger.
It would give a much greater diversity and especially give blackguard some more reason to be picked other than a splash class

until the BG spell book receives some much needed improvements, any discussion about making it qualify for divine prcs is moot. unless playing a gimp is actually what you're after.
EDIT: I can actually see hospitaler/bg as being a powerful albeit not at all thematically sound combo

I find the BG spellbook quite solid and thematically quite adequate looking the at the spells.
It just needs reasons to be worth taking 10 levels of. I would argue that any other 10 level PrC actually something awesome to the table whilst BG is used for 3-4 levels then scrapped

The BG spell ook at least needs the same upgrade as the Assassin’s spellbook, where the CL is made artificially greater, than vanilla.
Spells
At 2nd level, the Assassin gains a spellbook, spells require a base Intelligence score of 10+spell level to be cast and can be picked in that list.
NOTE ON ASSASSIN CASTER LEVELS: Caster level calculation for Assassin is: Assassin levels + (non-Assassin levels/2) = Caster Level. So a level 30 character with 8 or 9 Assassin levels will have CL19 while a level 30 PC with 10 Assassin levels will have CL20. Dragonslayer counts up to 6 of its levels as assassin levels, as per its optional assassin spell progression. For example a 10 rogue 10 assassin 10 Dragonslayer would have CL26.

It needs more than that, it needs actually good spells. Blackguard is a very mechanically confused class; remove their lame ass summons and sneak attack and replace them with a workable (aka 30 CL) spell book. Or at least give players that choice a la Kpack Elite Commando where you can choose a 'path' for your blackguard.

I’m all for even a Blackguard 30 that is a mesh between Anti-Paladin and MaA.
But,
Blackguard exists as a PrC already, albeit with a much greater spellbook in terms of choices.
