Hey there media team,

Is it possible to get male face/head tattoos? The heads for women have them and unless I've missed something it's impossible to get for men.

I used the jewelry box to get head/face tattoos for my thayan. Idk if that is what you are looking for.

I did try that but maybe it only works for certain heads?

I tried what I think is one of the newer heads, and opened the jewelry box dialogue. Here is what it looks like:

I am working on a few male heads, it's not at the tip-top of the project list but the absence of good male-tattoo-heads has been brought up before, and I intend to address it. I know there is a buttload of content in the game, so after the last major update I am intending to focus on where we are lacking (e.g. adding some stuff in for minor races and classes) as well as one or two little passion projects*.

Think I will take this opportunity to point out (as Athorn has probably done numerous times already and on my behalf, thank you Athorn <3) that Media Team can't/won't take up individual requests from players or for specific characters. In this instance it's a request that is widely applicable to many characters, not just red wizards, and so, yes, we will be addressing it.

When it comes to project planning, the Media Team will consider community needs, wants, and clear deficits in content, not individual wishes.

The only exception to this rule is content needed by DMs or Builders, because content for them is content for everyone. In those cases, I will attempt to meet the request as far as my abilities and the Media Team's knowledge will permit (and this is an olllld game, information is limited, and most of what current modders know they only learned from athorn.)

My apologies to use this thread as a Soapbox, but I just wanted this disclaimer to our accepting the request.

*Passion projects refers to stuff I am inspired to make that give me motivation to expand my skills in Blender/Photoshop/design. It's stuff I would be making even if it wasn't going to go into the server. But, if it's there, why not make it available to you guys, right?

To Xorena specifically:
Could you chat with other players/guild mates who may wish for male skull tattoos and take a screenshot of 2-3 male heads you'd all like to see this for? I am able to make head tatts on new faces, but, if it's possible that former faces could be duplicated and a little more easily have tattoos added to. It's no guarantee, but I'd really like to keep our options open, and try and bring something that the community would like.

Thank you for that comprehensive reply and your explanation of your philosophy. All of that makes great sense.

I will send you a PM with the heads (It's in a guild event screenshot that might provide fodder for the motivated metagamer). I am not great at recognizing heads, so if you need better screenshots I will ask our players to collect a few.
