Checking for out of date conent over and over

Hey guys me and a friend came back, with the new content (Thanks everyone!) and everytime I'm transitioning between servers it's checking for out of date content, making the load times pretty long. Anyone know if there's a work around?

Also I seem to be crashing while trying to transition a lot (5 times last 30 minutes)

Forgot to mention I live with my friend after moving across country and forgot set the port forward in Documents folder. Woops, problem might fix itself now. Think it's related to that, sorry if I caused server havoc!

It's game specific thing. After crashing or on first login to server, it will check for outdated content even if there is no outdates stuff (which can take quite long since Bgtscc has >10 GB of custom content.
Sadly, that's how game is designed.

Often when I exit to main menu, I'm crashing as well. The transition crashes seem to still be happening too. I haven't crashed in this game in like 5 years, and have been on/off pretty consistently. I have the Client Extension, anyone have any idea what might be causing it?

Through 3 years of me playing on BGTSCC, i noticed that amount of CE crashes went up significally. I also saw people crashing where they normally could go. E.g. i was having CE crashes when leaving Soubar to Boareskyr. Relogging without CE and taking that transition, then saving and relogging with CE worked in that particular situation.

Hey all,

I have noticed a significant increase in loads times over the last 5 - 7 days. The delays typically occur on login and during the "Checking for outdated content", and when moving out of the Nexus and into my first map transition.

For what it's worth - My Internet subscription is for 1 GByte speed, although I rarely see these speeds using wifi.

Has anyone else experienced these same issues?

Cheers!

Checking for outdated content is not really about internet speed, but about how fast game can check your game files and see if any of them are old.
It usually happens after crashes or if update is rolled out. Sadly, we have 0 control about it.
