shadow mastiff and the guard Dog are not the same but i cant use dismissal on the shadow mastiff couse it did say it is a outsiders here you can read it https://nwn2.fandom.com/wiki/Shadow_mastiff but the guard dog on the grey peak i can use my dismissal spell how come it is this way

found out it is not a shadow mastiff but a Nethersight mastiff it cant be dismisasl

Moon dogs and shadow mastif are both outsiders so they can be sent back to their home plane.
