Crafting & 'Muling'?

New player and was wondering how the 'muling' process process is done (without waiting for RCR/reset)
Rolled my first guy with all their 'eggs' in crafting to test out how it worked & maybe make them a crafter to mule gear for my 'main' but cant seem to figure out how crafting works, all Ive found is a forge workbench
I know some games allow alt accounts to mule but highly doubt that is allowed here...

Seen someone mention that packhorses have their 'own' inventory registered under their name?
Does that mean they are handled 'like' an alt that can be logged in with the player character & can be used to mule to an alt?
Reading the lore in tutorial made it sound like you 'scrap' gear for parts? Or did I misunderstand that bit?
Also if anyone can point me in direction of location of crafting stations I need for each craft skill as the forge don't seem to do anything?
Thanks in advance

Crafting doesn’t really exist on BGTSCC.

Workbenches allow one to take some craftable items that drop from certain mobs and via casting Flare on the bench after depositing these items within, some gold amd potions are produced as a result.

Armor, weapons, etc can’t be crafted.

Wait.... casting Flare? For making potions with Craft Alchemy??
I thought it said a Mortar and Pestle were needed for that??

Bgtscc had some attempts to implement crafting, but they never finished yet.

Thus, currently, from crafting, you have such options:
1) Scroll crafting (have a feat, cast a spell on the scroll, choose your CL (Caster level) within limits, pay gold).
2) Wand crafting (Have a feat, cast a spell on the bone wand, get a wand with predefined CL)
3) Potion crafting (Have a Master Alchemist class, set your desired CL, cast a spell on the empty potion bottle).
4) Minor consumables crafting. Have a beetle shells and some other things that drop from several mobs or harvested, put them into workbench, cast flare (or any targeting spell, in fact), get the scripted outcome of some gold + potions.

Outside of these 4, there is no crafting on Bgtscc, so you can't make armors or enchant them etc.

OK, thanks for breaking it down! Looks like I'm off to reroll lol

@EasternCheesE I just happened upon an 'armor stand' in a dungeon (2nd lv of Kobold ruins near BG)
& it triggered a skill check for 'Craft Armor'?
I failed it and couldn't repeat, likely till rank up the skill, but do you know what it would have done if I succeeded?
Way it looked, it seemed to imply I could 'craft' the armor type that was held on the stand?

There are some loot nodes tied to skills (the armor stand, some herbs that use ither alchemy or survival, possible a few others) But IIRC all that does is enable looting of some minor extra things.

Ahh ok, so it wouldn't require mats but has a chance to drop loot, thankyou
