I want to make a monk build that is monk 27/ paladin 3 or monk 26/ paladin 4.
No EDM !
I tried it myself but I feel like the AC is too low, I just went all in on wisdom.
How to get a high AC with a monk?
And no MotlD, obviously.

Re: How to build a monk?
I’d go Monk 26 / Fighter 4 with Intuitive Attack and pick up Unarmed feats via Fighter reqs…and then choose LG alignment and act like a Paladin!!

Re: How to build a monk?
That is pretty much it.
25 or 27 Monk are your thresholds in many ways. 25 monk gives you +1 AC and Bonus epic feats. 27 Monk maxes your unarmed dmg.
For AC, you still need ICE, AT.
Otherwise, Good dex+wisdom makes your AC.
Another alternative would be monk27/fist of the forest3 now. That would legit be very awesome at this point.

Re: How to build a monk?
Why paladin?
You could go monk20/paladin4/sacred fist6, get some funny spells and some of the SF perks, and still be able to use intuitive attack.
Not sure what kind of AC you are expecting though, so...
EDIT:
What I mentioned: https://nwn2db.com/build/?341032
There definitely are better monks, but if you want the paladin flavour, why not.

Re: How to build a monk?
It is also a question of what kind of a weapon you wish to use. Fist? Quarterstaff? Kama?
What about the race of your monk?
And is Paladin truly necessary for your roleplay? Because you could go for a Monk 20/Dwarven Defender 10, and set your Alignment to Lawful Good.
Anyhow, when it comes to Monk AC: dexterity is a source, wisdom is a source, Tumble skill is a source, every 5th level of monk is a source.
Thus if you start a new game, buy potions of Cat's Grace and Owl's Wisdom, drink both and you got +4 AC, and especially if you started with both at 16. After that, you just pick a stat, either dexterity with Weapon Finesse, or wisdom with Intuitive Attack, (and or Weapon Finesse), and you just keep raising that one stat. The monk's total AC builds up slowly, but you may also consider getting Combat Expertise and Improved Combat Expertise if you truly need AC, and feats such as Sembian Fencing and Athkatlan Triparite.

If you are offended by what I said have said above, I have recieved my last warning, I have discussed Intuitive Attack, so report - for I do not mind. Getting me banned is nothing special, it happens every week. But you could also choose not to be offended, this place needs more banter, your choice.
