Booted on login

Hello

My Underdark Character gets "You have been booted from the server", if I port into the Auctioneer area, or into the Nexus.

The only way I don't get booted, is if I login into the 2nd server, but now that is no long an option, as I made the mistake of visiting the Auctioneer.

Now I login, select my character, and get booted immediately.

1) Can you connect to S1 with any other PC manually? (Add :5121 to the end of address in direct connect)
2) If you try your other PCs (even freshly made one, say spawn in farmlands, go to Thundar's and back), does it boot you?

Ok I tried a new character I made last night. I get booted from the Server using that one as well (Not an underdark character.)

Edit - Just now made a new character. Same thing "You Have been Booted"
Edit - Tried Deleting BG BGTSCC module folder, and BGServer1 folder so I could downloaded all of the files fresh Result = No Change, booted as soon as I spawn.

So, you basically can't log into S1 without being booted.
Please PM admins through forum PMs, maybe, there are some cdkey or your login name issues.

Just to see if it was a Login Name Issue, I changed to a New Login Name / Password.
The same thing happens.

Are there any active DM's you would recommend contacting?

*Sigh* Finally a day off, with plans to relax and play. O well, such is life.

Not DMs, but admins, so if that's a CDkey issue, only they can fix it. They are pretty active btw.
You either use Global Admin group or send a pm to Zanniej or Maecius or Miasmata on forums.

Oh, heh. Got same problem just now in Sshamath. Sooo, it's not your CDkey since i played just fine today.
I informed Dev team of the issue.

Having the same issue. What I have noticed:

"[Notice] You cannot log into more than 1 server at the same time."

Appears when you try to log into a different server.

I am stuck on server 2. Tried using the caravan to get from KH to BG farmlands. Logged onto server 1 then was booted back to server 2 at the troll claws near the caravan as typically happens. I waited a minute to attempt the transition again. On the second attempt I successfully loaded onto the farm lands then after a few second I received the above message then was booted.

I tried direct connecting back to server 1 and received the message again and was booted.

I tried logging into a different character onto server 1 and was booted.

I tried logging onto a different account (same CD key) on server 1 and was not booted.

I tried waiting 45 minutes before logging back in and was booted from server 1 again. By this time server 2 had also crashed or been reset, still botted me.

Yeah. It's S1 somehow thinks that your PC is still on S2 thus it boots you. Devs are looking into it, but it could be lengthy process to fix. Though, it should be fixed till next time when server that boots you restarts.

From my experience, i myself teleported to mist lake, saved and logged off. THen, i logged in to S2, went to AH and got booted (3 mins total).
So, as a safety measure, i can only advise to stay on your server for about 10 min and also save before crossing transition to make sure your position is saved. Not sure if it helps, let's see

Okay, so server restart fixed it for now. The source of the issue is still being investigated though.
Seems like the only thing that helps currently, is a restart of server that "thinks" you are in other server.

Yes I have been able to play now since the reboot myself. On the good news end of things, I was able to go back to the auctioneer two or three times without ever having another issue.

Thank you Devs, Admins, and any others that have (or currently are) working on this! Just know you are appreciated.

Confirmed. Tried to portal from auction to mist lake, got booted with message "you cannot be logged in to more than one server at a time" or similar phrase. Happens frequently, but not every time.

ETA: Note to other people to whom this happens: If you try to log back in to server 2 immediately, you will get booted again. If you try to log back into server 1, you will immediately start porting to server 2 and then get booted again. BUT, if you wait about 2 minutes or so then try to log in to server 2, you'll be fine because then the server will have "caught up" and realize you're not on server 1.

I am new to the Underdark so I wasn't aware of this issue before today. I ran my Underdark character, went "into the tent" auction house area, and then eventually got booted. I am currently unable to log into either server with any character I have. Cheers!

That transition is transition to server 1 as all Mudds are located on server 1. Please wait for 10 minutes and try connecting to S1 of S2 after this. Things should normally get cleared after 10 min.
