Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

The Lucky Find is the random loot shop for the Underdark, and it is located in Runner's Pass, in Rockrun. There is only one other random loot shop on BGtSCC that I know of and that is located in Baldur's Gate near the transition to the Darius Estate.

The Lucky Find is free for all races to access, including surfacers ( : ))))))))) ), but not drow, or, at least, not easily or at all for most drow, since it requires you to beat a diplomacy check of 30 or 35, I forget which. Drow are free to interact with all svirfs in the village, including the quest givers, without any restrictions due to the custom lore for Rockrun, except for the one NPC who runs the *potentially* best shop in the whole Underdark.

In the words of another player whom I've just told about this, it seems to be "some <word censored by OP> joke".

Could this check be removed please?

I stumbled across this a few days ago for the first time, and was like, "Why?"

Considering that surface KOS races can throw up AFK tag and use any vendor/quest NPC in BG, this check seems utterly pointless.

duergar and grey orcs suffer the same 'roll' problem.

A bit of update. The further investigation showed that this particular merchant is actually a member of one of the guild assets. So, this particular one won't be changed, but another vendor will be added. Can't promise it's going to happen right in the next update, but it will happen in near future.
