Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Something other than "Baldurs Gate 2" and "Baldurs Gate 3"

I nominate Baldur's Gate South and Baldur's Gate North & Underdark.

I've been hesitant to change them because I'm afraid it will mess up the player counter again.

Looks like 42 works.

I authored the newer one as well that is currently running on the forum, it pulls the title from the running process window, allowing the server name to be changed to anything without needing modification on the pshell script that creates the forum counter unless you're adjusting the parsed character. It's how we have the uptime shown.

So, Baldur's Gate - Sword Coast for server1, and Baldur's Gate - Underdark + whatever north-east of BG. Sounds good ?

How about Baldur's Gate: Team Good and Baldur's Gate: Team Evil ?

No.

Server 1: Baldur's Gate - Coast Way
Server 2: Baldur's Gate - Trade Way and Underdark

Because the actual in game areas found south of Baldur's Gate are pretty much just along the Coast Way, where as the areas north of Baldur's Gate are found along the Trade Way proper, with the Underdark mixed in. If you wish to retain the whole server name in the server name, just have something like BGTSCC - Coast Way, and BGTSCC - Trade Way and Underdark.

Good points but some limitations on length, I went for :

BGTSCC - Coast Way
BGTSCC - UD & Trade Way

Until better suggestions, "BGTSCC" is not exactly clear for any imaginary newcomer.

If I take "BGate UD & Trade Way" as the longest acceptable string length: So how about:
Baldur's Gate - CW (Coast Way)
Baldur's Gate - UD (Underdark)

Baldur's Gate Sword Cost and Baldur's Gate Amn

I'm still a proponent of
[North & UD] and [South]

given that they are more intuitive directions without knowing specific map names and lore.
and I was pretty sure there were 'trade-way' maps on the south server, but I might be wrong.

Imho, this was the best and easiest Names to understand.

EDIT: although Sword Coast South & Sword Coast North & UD is also appropriate if we’re no longer considering Baldurs Gate city the central hub.
