Bob was born in a small fishing village, near Neverwinter, its original name long lost to time, now merely reffered as Tuna-Town, thanks to its main import. The son of the local womanizer, Ted, who cared for him after the early death of his mother. Bob, however, was destined for more than the mere capture of fish, and in early adulthood, moved to the nearby city. He swiftly fell in with the local Helmites, and a year after, had gathered enough coins to afford his own equipement and join the church as a squire. What followed was an unremarkable carreer as a knight of Helm, until a faithful day where Bob was captured by the very same Banites he was tasked to eliminate. Confusing them for Bhaalyns, Thairo expected a swift death. Instead, he was met with teachings, instructions. Something about him had apparently convinced the cleric of the Black Hand to attempt a conversion, which succeded, and thus, Bob was redeeemed, in his own eyes, anyway.
It took a month before his order was able to locate the cult new camp, and properly put an end to it. It was too late, and the seeds were planted. Bob left shortly after, and wandered over to Westgate, where he lived with fellows from his faith for a few years, before he moved down to the Sword Coast.
Notable achievements on the Coast:
- Was knighted properly by a Vigilator of Bane, following the due rites and processes to do so
- Became Knight-Commander of Darkhold
- Was given overall field command of the Loyal Hammer, a company of Zhentilar deployed in the defence of Soubar and the Boareskyr bridge during the Devil War
- Lead the Northern contingent (including the Loyal Hammer) in their efforts in the last battle of Dragonspear
- Became Dreadlord of Darkhold
- Married Marietta Thairo (formely Starling)
- Had a daughter, Bea, soon after his wedding
Following his resignation as Dreadlord, Bob and Marietta disapeared from the Coast, they were seen once again recently, without any Zhentarim insignia of rank . Bob is, however, still a fierce Bane follower.
