Common Knowledge in Sshamath

A recent arrival in Sshamath has caused a slight scurry amongst the temple priestesses, upsetting the natural order of influence, power, and position. The Yath'tallar, Yathrin, and Yath'abbans are hurrying about paying everyone they know to find out about a new priestess of Lolth who has shown up out of no where, making sacrifices to Lolth on the altar. Her chants echo at odd hours of the time, though not unpleasant to the hearing. Her voice has a soothing and seductive effect on those who listen.
This drowess is attractive, and the Yathrin who have observed her incantations and sacrifices notice that she is using ancient Lothian rites reserved only for the Yath'tallars. The priestess dines alone within the finest places of Sshamath. She seems to be waiting for the appearance of someone.
Bregan Darthir, having done some investigation, have noted that the priestess is in communication with a Zau'afin merchant named Adentith. An altogether disgusting drow that would likely have been backstabbed long ago had it not been for the protections of his Qu'ellar and their ever waning influence and power. Bregan comments at how odd it is to see a female of such poise and elegance discussing things so calmly with a frighteningly foul and disgusting male that some question if he is actually a half orc.
They have also noted that on occasion the hilt of a dagger has been seen under her cloak bearing the umistakable mark of Zau'Afin. This has been confirmed by the watchful eyes of the spies of Bregan on more then one occasion, while making pretenses at scanning her sikly and curvy legs. The priestess on occassion has smiled at the spies, not when they were pretending to admire her, but when they were critically evaluating her, unerving the trained jaluken.
Eventually however after many cycles of sacrifices the mystery of the purpose of the visitation of this Yathrin is made clear. Adenith is seen posting notices in different parts of Sshamath. The messages is simple. It states;
"To those who seek to feed and grow in a true Qu'ellar of Lolth. I Maim Zau'Afin, daughter of Yath'tallar Eclav, have decided to take up the lapsed
leadership of the Qu'ellar. Any who wish to challenge me are welcome to do so. Any who wish to follow my lead are invited to prove themselves worthy."
OOC: I have decided to RCR my Zau'Afin character Dreadguard to make a true to lore Lothian Priestess. She is an epic level priestess. I am looking to roleplay the rebirth of Zau'Afin for anyone interested in reforming this Qu'ellar. I'm focused mostly on the rp and story side of this. This build is designed to be an rp build, not a heavy PVP build or a powerbuild. For those who remember me I used to be a power builder and PVP heavy player who also liked to roleplay. Right now I don't have the time to grind, or the interest to PvP. Although I probably can still pose some challenge to those who want to test my mettle. That said I haven't played NWN2 in many years and I am unfamiliar with lots of the new content and spells. So anyone who wants to teach me is welcome to do so. I am very interested in roleplaying and adding some good fun to the server both in the underdark and on the surface. I played a long time ago in BG as a surface elf named Aloria ap Ravar. I also played on other servers as part of Zau'Afin. Right now I have a two part player driven plot. One is with Aloria ap Ravar's return as an escaped elf on the surface. She knows a great deal about the underdark and Zau'Afin. Maim is interested in tying off this loose end, but needs to build up her powerbase in Sshamath first. While I realize that many players like to get involved in Qu'ellars for subterfuge purposes, I would ask that until we get Zau'Afin back off the ground that only players genuinely interested in reforming the Qu'ellar get involved with Maim for a while. Thank you!
